I purchased this specifically to fit inside the cage for my foster kitten, Snoopy. He required a leg amputation, and I wanted him to have a scratcher for when he felt better. He enjoyed the ball chase at the bottom, and he did use the scratcher!! Overall, it's a good product for a good price. Size is great, and very sturdy. Love the mushroom look 🍄
My cats absolutely love this, so it get 5 stars for that. However, the ball is too little, it came off the track the first time they touched it and was soon lost. The scratching post part is cardboard, and within a couple of month had torn and fallen over.
Edit: this a hit with kittens. I hear them playing with it when I am in another room.Just opened the box and am incredibly impressed with the quality. Nicely finished wood pieces. Feels very sturdy. Easy, easy to assemble. felt pads to prevent floor scratching included. I am fostering 8 week old kittens for at least another month and needed something for them to play with and scratch on. I did find this on sale for half off, so I paid less than $20. Quality and price are much better than anything I have seen in local stores. Haven’t let the kittens at it yet so I may edit later.
This was super cute and easy to assemble. I like that it made a small footprint in our living room. Unfortunately my cat was not really interested in it and it did get donated. But over all it was sturdy and did not fall over when he did decide to scratch it and the wooden balls did not come out at all once assembled properly. I think this would be a great addition for a new kitten or a smaller cat who loves to play with a ball trap and scratching post.
My cat loves the tower. She doesn’t use the toys very often but I believe she’s just picky with her toys. It’s sturdy so it doesn’t tip over when she’s scratching. It’s visibly nice and blends in well to my home. It’s been about a year and it’s just starting to fray.
